Last Friday 26th January, NANOGAP took part in the third edition of Innovames, a day organised collaboratively by the Council of Ames and Marker Faire Galicia, which seeks to highlight the resources and capacity for local innovation by local companies. During the event, companies were able to explain the work not only for the expertise public, but also for the young one, making the public aware of the potential of Ames in the sector and encouraging new generations to be part of the technology and innovation.
In this context, NANOGAP was present as a leading company in the innovation sector, presenting its differential approach and the company’s general project. From our own stand, we were able to interact with all those who came to us, eager to learn more about metal molecules and our entrepreneurial and innovative vision. Especially, it was a real satisfaction to get in touch with the students of the participating schools, who showed an exceptional interest in NANOGAP and in the scientific work behind us.
Additionally, we were offered the possibility of being part of the jury of the InnovAmes Awards, an award dedicated to recognizing the work of innovative companies, supporting them and giving them the visibility they deserve for their work. It was a great honor to be part of this process and to witness the talent presented. To end the day, our technical director, Iria R. Arias, participated in a round table addressing the key themes of the event: Artificial Intelligence, new technologies and sustainability.
This year, Radio Galicia – Cadena Ser came to Ames to broadcast its programme Hoy por Hoy from the Milladoiro pavilion, where InnovAmes was taking place, so the broadcast went live from there. Once again, Iria took part in the report, chatting and debating about technology and artificial intelligence live. It was a real pleasure to take part in it!
Overall, we at NANOGAP could not feel more grateful to the organizers for inviting us to participate, not only in the event, but also in the many activities encompassed within it. It has been a phenomenal opportunity to discover new companies that are breaking new ground in the innovation sector near us, to be inspired by revolutionary projects and to serve as an inspiration to future generations, setting benchmarks that will awaken their interest in science, technology and innovation.
